Vitamin C treatment information
This is a vitamin which cannot be produced by the body, but has massive health benefits. It is a powerful antioxidant and also aids in the production of collagen. It is available to the body by eating citrus fruits and vegetables.
Vitamin C is linked to (but not clinically proven) to:
Reducing risks of chronic disease
Help manage high blood pressure
Lowering heart disease risk factors
Reducing blood uric acid levels (gout)
Preventing iron deficiency
Boost immunity
Lessen the risk of memory and thought disorders (dementia)
Risks and side effects:
Pain at injection site. (We suggest IV treatment rather than IM)
Nausea
Pain during administration
High doses/overdoses can lead to kidney stones and diarrhoea
Contraindications:
Cardiac dysfunction
Pregnancy/breastfeeding
Allergy to L ascorbic acid
When under hospital or medical treatment
Active cancer
Undergoing chemo or radio therapy
Kidney disease
Treatment take 30 minutes to one hour
Important
