ElectroMagnetic Body Sculpting is a new, totally non-invasive technology that burns fat and builds muscle in 2 weeks.
In one 30-minute EMS session your muscles will have done the work of a 5 + hours training session by contracting and releasing muscles 20,000 times, equal to, for example, 20,000 stomach crunches.
EMS can be used for abs, buttocks, shoulders, arms, thighs and calves and pelvic floor. EMS is controllable to provide either an extensive workout or extreme muscle training, and can be further controlled to emphasise muscle gain, or fat reduction. It may show some skin tightening, but this is not a skin tightening treatment.
EMS achieves this by inducing supra maximal contractions in the muscle groups. This level of contraction is unachievable by exercise alone. This is a safe, comfortable and pain free treatment.
Forces muscle tissue to adapt to supra maximal extremes whereby the muscle fibres are remodelled. By stimulating the growth of myofibrils and muscle fibres, increases muscle density and volume giving a natural conformity and proportion. The treatment goes through pulsed phases of stimulation avoiding the build up of lactic acid which can cause aches and pain.
We can treat up to two muscle groups at any one time.
There is a, “kegal effect” addition to the machine, that tightens pelvic floor muscles. This can aid in urinary incontinence and also tighten vaginal muscles. It is a clothed seating arrangement!
Rapid and intensive stimulation releases adrenaline, causing fat cells to start a lipolysis process which induces fat cell death, (apoptosis) Dead fat cells cannot be replaced.
Your BMI should be 30 or under
At your appointment do not wear any metal objects. e.g., Jewellery, underwired bra, zips etc.
If you eat before treatment it must only be a light meal at least 2 hours before.
Do not eat for 2 hours post treatment, and then, only a light meal.
You may experience mild soreness.
Drink plenty of water-based alcohol and caffeine free liquid.
