The difference between mono and cog threads
Mono threads are smooth without barbs and are anchored to a point on the face or the scalp. They mainly tighten the skin and provide a small amount of lift. Cog threads have barbs which hook onto the skin to provide support and lift the sagging tissue.
The action of Threads
Threads are multi-functional. They relax muscles and tendons whilst stimulating the production of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid.
The threads dissolve within two to six months, and the lifting and skin rejuvenation effects can last for up to two years.
Threads are suitable for:
- Forehead
- Eyebrows
- Cheeks
- Ears

- Nasolabial lines (sides of nose)
- Marionette Lines (sides of mouth)
