Peels
A chemical peel is solution applied to the face to remove dead skin cells and stimulate the growth of new cells. The aim is to improve the appearance of the skin – for example, by reducing age spots and evening out skin tone.
Types of peels you will be trained in
- Mesoshine: A “minor” peel for stretch marks, scars, skin flaccidity, seborrheic dermatitis.
- Purifying: A superb peel for acne related disorders.
- Photo-ageing:Fine lines. Roughened and dryer skins. Lessens sun-damage.
- Rejuvenating:Mild to moderate wrinkles. Skin ageing. Signs of acne and keratosis.
- Radiance:Visible photo ageing. Pigmentation. Unifies skin tone.
- Mandelic Fitzpatrick iv and v.:Irregular pigmentation. Inflammatory acne.
- Lactic Hyperpigmentation:Chronological ageing. Suitable for dry sensitive fine skin.
BioRePeel
BioRePeel is a second-generation peel that is dual phase bio-stimulating, hydrophilic and lipophilic.
This means that it attracts water and lipids in the skin. It also has a keratolytic action which causes shedding of the top layer of skin, softens keratin.
It also has a phase which protects the skin during treatments and aids the skin’s lipid mantle.
Two other really great features of BioRePeel are that it can be used on all Fitzpatrick scale skins (porcelain to black) and it can be micro-needled into skin.
